Miami Dentists Support the ADA Seal

You are probably familiar with the American Dental Association (ADA) Seal on many products for your teeth and mouth but do you know exactly what this means.  We know it’s a good thing.  Miami dentists and consumers have long recognized the ADA Seal of Acceptance as a strong endorsement for any product that carries this label.  For over 125 years, the ADA has strived to support the safety of a variety of dental products.

Looking for the ADA symbol is something that many consumers have been trained to do and this is a very good idea.  The ADA seal is a gold standard when it comes to evaluating a particular dental product.  This goes for a wide range of products such as toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrushes and chewing gum.  If it’s effective towards oral health, the ADA seeks to approve it.

The ADA Seal of Acceptance was started back in 1930 and in 1984 President Reagan gave the Association a certificate of commendation for the ongoing efforts towards dental health.  You can visit the ADA database to search for over 300 products which have passed the rigorous test to receive the Seal of Acceptance.  It’s a convenient way to do your research and know what products are safe and effective.
