Here Are Oral Sedation Pre Op Instructions
Before your surgery day:
- During the 24 hours before sedation, drink NO alcohol or caffeinated beverages
- The night before the surgery, have a normal meal at your regular evening meal time
- During the 8 hours before your appointment, eat NO solid food and drink NO milk, cream, or juices with pulp
- During the 6 hours before sedation, drink NOTHING

On the day of your surgery:
- A responsible adult must accompany you to the office, absolutely NO driving
- Wear comfortable clothing to the office
- Take any morning medications you take normally or that we have prescribed for the morning before the sedation with a SMALL sip of water
- Wear NO contact lenses, make-up, mascara, jewelry, or high heels to the office the day of the surgery
